Bit disapointed about magic stones win
« on: November 23, 2014, 10:23:19 PM »
Hello, I finally could banish the King with magic stones but I was disapointed about the animation: only the king falling.
I don't know if you planned to do something about it later (since we are in beta) but a epic animation would be great.
Awesome game. I hope a board version in France ^^

So much this. Only reason I have not said anything is because I am 99.99% sure they are planning on having some magical pyrotechnics either portal him away or cure him and force him into exile...and they just have not gotten to it yet because of all the bug fixes (because the Spirit Stone victory does work, despite the visual unimpressiveness).

It would be great if each victory condition can get a unique voiced narration = a paragraph should be just about enough. It would be absolutely fantastic if that narration is custom to each hero and it tells us how he will rule as King. Perhaps you can use the same voice actor that does the audiobooks? http://youtu.be/TrOJBrB7Ejw?t=50s

There's still time so I remain optimistic.  :D

That would be neat. On a similar note, I also think it would be a neat touch if the character portraits changed at the victory screen. Each character could have one happy, victorious portrait (with the crown atop their head), and one sad, defeated portrait. Maybe even a different victory portrait to go along with each type of victory condition?

Hehehe. I've had a spirit stone victory, so lets just say I never noticed!
