PAX Aus 2014 ????
« on: September 26, 2014, 02:53:36 PM »
Afternoon All,

Just wonder if the LoG boys and girls will be heading back to PAX Aus this year ? It was at last years PAX Aus that I first saw Armello Andrews in love with it.  If I remember my conversation correctly I don't even think the KickStarter Campaign was a twinkle in Trent's eye :)
18 months on and look how far things have come !!

So will Armello be making a reappearance at PAX Aus ?

And for that matter who else in the community is heading there this year ?

(sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere else).

Good news! This was covered earlier by Trent and you can find it here: http://leagueofgeeks.com/forums/index.php?topic=5.msg1936#msg1936

In short, yes they will be attending PAX Aus as well as PAX Prime and Gamescom!

Yep! We'll be there. :)

We'll be right by the indie area on the Expo Hall in Booth 2808 between Defiant Development and Black Annex!

You can check out the map here.

See you there!

I was lucky enough to listens to a panel today which Trent was about the convergence of traditional table top games and the digital realm  (I missed out on the other panel he was on about Story telling in games) . I also got a chance to chat with him a bit afterwards. And I have to say the game is is good hands.

Which should be self evident given that these guys have made it what it is today. But being able to chat with Trent and the other LoG team members and seeing their passion for the game has just reinforced how much they care.

Stories of Trent and Ty discussing Armello law, Ty arguing over how long a wolfs paws should be, Scrum sessions on the speed of the game (Trent you never did say which way the final decision did fall in regards to changes to the Quest system...). All I can say is we the community have some nice surprises coming our way from a bunch of very talented people who have an obsolete commitment to their craft.

Trent seems to live, think and breath computer games. It's obvious when chatting with him that he has spends a lot of time thinking about aspects of game play and game design that most of us take for granted and don't think about twice if at all.
I felt guilty for stealing to much of his and the other guys time. I could have pestered them all with questions for hours but thought it beat not to so they could talk to other folks who didn't know about the game.

Anyways it was great to meet some of the team (I'm hoping to catch Ty tomorrow some time cause I've missed him
the past 2 days) and I'm looking forward even more so to the future builds of the game.

Thanks guys.
