[MAC] AI Tile Movement Decisions
« on: September 19, 2014, 05:43:24 PM »
Build Number:  0.1.36

Platform: Mac

Description:
Any number of times the AI makes poor decisions as to what tile they move to. A couple of examples Ive seen multiple times spring mind:
1) The character leaves their home tile only to turn around and walk back into it and then walk back out again.
2) The character leaves one tile, moves to a second and then steps back onto the first.

The best I have seen though is in the screen shot below. In the move before this screen shot Sana moved into the Kings palace, defeated the peril and attacked the King. The battle was a draw. In her next move (the screen shot) instead of attacking the king again, she moved down into another section of the palace, faced and defeated that peril and then went back to attacking the king again. The obvious choice here would have just been to attack the king again straight away and not move to another peril.

We are aware of this issue.  The AI will be improved over time but at the moment we are stuck with Sana(and the others) walking in fear induced circles.

Thanks for the good work!

Great! I thought that might be the case.
