Was the skin pack successful?
« on: January 12, 2017, 11:39:42 AM »
Many times you warned us how making new map skins like the Season pack could cost more than the development would return in additional sales.  Thus it was a pleasant surprise when Spring and Summer maps came to Armello as a paid DLC.  Now I am curious: has the map skins proved economically sustainable, so that we can hope to see more one day, or were they a flop like the language localizations beyond say the first 5?

Hi  Kletian,

We're happy with how the Seasons pack but at this stage have no plans to release any more like it at this stage.

I'm not sure we ever said that localisation was a flop haha.

Could have sworn Trent said something like "Localization cost a lot more than expected and with less sales during a press interview".  No big deal either way, just hoping that the experiment on map DLC turned out well for you.
