Why I'm wounded when I failed on a trap?
« on: September 06, 2016, 09:03:20 AM »
I know, some traps hurt your character. But even no-wound traps strike me. For example, i failed to "Rite of Wyld". I haven't rot point, but I receive three hits.

Same thing for some other traps, like "Wake the Tree".

Don't know if it's normal or not.

Agents of misfortune is a card played onto a peril that when someone fails the peril, they take 1 damage for each missing symbol in the peril roll. For example, all the palace perils have agents built into it.

Even more so when there's a King's Declaration called "King's Agents" that places Agents of Misfortune on every peril currently on the board, so it might just be that someone played that in your game.
