WARNING: Due to an issue with the save sessions in the initial release, updating to this hotfix will clear any current game of Armello you have saved. If you've got a sweet game of Armello going, hold off on the update until you finish it! (Just to confirm, you won't lose any Ring/Amulet progress - just the current session of Armello that you have saved, if you have one.)

Hey everyone!

At Wyld's Will was a massive update and, just like my great grandmother always said, after a massive update comes a massive patch, to fix all the bugs - er, I mean, to improve all the features that we added!

Some of these issues were common and others were rare, but all of them were found with the help of you, the community. Thank you for your help, and remember to keep using that Report Bug Button whenever you find a bug!

(Note: NMA here means “No-More-Action”, and refers to when the game gets into a state where it get stuck and no longer continues the gameplay sequence.)

  • Fixed some issues where Heroes or Creatures could be attacked while receiving damage or dying, which could cause NMAs.
  • Fixed some timing issues where NMAs could arise from Card play and Combat occurring at the same time (eg. attacking a Hero that is just about to play the “Teleport” Card).
  • Fixed NMA that could occur when both the King and his attacker die in combat, and the attacker was the only Hero in the palace.
  • Fixed a King’s Declaration NMA that would occur in “overtime” in multiplayer games, after one of the King’s Declarations “Dark Army” or “Dark Liege” were selected.
  • Fixed issue where a saved game session wouldn’t load up if one of the Heroes in the saved game had a War Horn equipped.
  • Fixed an NMA where, if a Hero Banished themselves while on a Dungeon and all other Dungeons were occupied, they would attempt to attack themselves.
  • Fixed an NMA that could occur after stealthed characters were killed off-turn.
  • Fixed an NMA that could occur after an AI Player was waiting for a Bane or King’s Guard to die.
  • Spirit Stones that Crystallise on top of King’s Guards will now correctly be destroyed by that King’s Guard.
  • Added a prompt to warn when starting a new Singleplayer game that if you have a saved session it will be overwritten.
  • Fixed Body Icon to correctly display when viewing a Body Quest in the Journal.
  • Fixed "Blood Moon" King's Declaration description typo.
  • Fixed "Fog of War" King's Declaration description typo.
  • Fixed “The Deep Dig” Rabbit Clan Quest outcome typo.
  • Fixed “The God in the Grass” Bear Clan Quest outcome typo.
  • Fixed “The Last of Dawn’s Call” Bear Clan Quest name typo.
  • Fixed several Status Feed typos.
  • Fixed “War Hammer” Card flavour text typo.
  • Fixed Trickery Deck tooltip typo.
  • Fixed Rabbit Clan Signet typo.
  • Fixed “Explore” tutorial typos.
  • Fixed “Playing Perils” tutorial typo.

Actually... we do! It was in our Stream on the weekend, in the process of uploading it :)
