Bugs! / Re: chests not opening right.
« on: February 26, 2018, 03:46:04 PM »
Heyo archangel100, this sounds like it's likely to be a Steam server or internetty weirdness thing because it's not a bug that we've observed with other players.

We'll keep an eye out for it though!

Thanks for letting us know! I'll forward this through to our localisation team to look at. Appreciate it!

General Discussion / Re: February Update Rollback to v1.9

Is there going to be an out of game way to read the Novellas?

Backers already have a way, and we're pursuing other methods moving forward. <3

Good suggestion! I didn't think this could happen, bringing it up with the team.

Armello Development / The Road to 2.0 - February Feature Reveal, New Cards.
« on: February 13, 2018, 03:28:55 PM »

Howdy friends!

The Road to 2.0 begins with a big ol' content update on Wednesday the 14th, which is just a few days from now. We're going to start you off with a classic Armello addition with a twist, new cards.

This time around, we're giving the Trickery Deck a little bit of love with two new cards that feature a new card mechanic in Armello, the Merchant system.

After either of these cards are played a sign will appear on the targeted settlement, indicating that a Merchant will become active on the following turn. When the Merchant arrives, every player that enters the settlement during that turn is able to gain the benefits of the card.

Roxy has you covered for Followers, and Biff has all the Treasures you need. Naturally, these cards benefits all players that manage to visit the targeted settlement - so take advantage of ill-positioned opponents, defend this valuable settlement or even terrorize it to dismiss the merchant early.

Let us know what you think and ready yourselves for the next feature reveal.

Armello Development / Re: The Great Armello Roadmap: Year Two
« on: February 13, 2018, 03:13:16 PM »
You guys are serious ROCK STARS! What a great Road Map for the year to come, all with v2.0 on the way as well!

What this community should understand is my crew just came off of a game called Paragon. This game was incredible, but listened and communicated with their base about 0%, and that game has now officially been cancelled. League of Geeks is only 15 people I believe, and the amount of time and effort they put into not only releasing incredible updates and additions to their product, but also keeping us in the loop on what is going on, should NOT be overlooked.

Congratulations to you guys on the incredible success. You've earned every fan, and I'm out there on PS4 everyday making sure that fan base is growing and enjoying Armello.

P.S. The Console updates make me giddier than a schoolgirl with a crush!

Woah! Sorry to hear about Paragon and thank you for your kind words. You're right, we have about 15 people and we absolutely do our best to keep our finger on the pulse. We've been working on another roadmap post to keep everyone in the loop about what we're up to, so hopefully we can get that out shortly.

Armello Development / The Road to 2.0
« on: February 12, 2018, 04:48:45 PM »

Greetings dearest Armellians,

Today is a monumental day for Armello and it’s time to revel and celebrate. Armello version 2.0 is coming, and will land later this year. They say that the journey is more important than the destination, but considering what we’ve got up our sleeve, it’s all gonna be pretty damn special.

Along The Road to 2.0, we will be providing content updates monthly! The February update will be the first and is landing this week, Wednesday the 14th of February. Specifics of the February update will be revealed over the coming days and are bound to set an exciting tone for our adventure ahead.

Each update on The Road will primarily focus on additional content, juicy gameplay hooks and lore expansion. In essence, they are a tribute to v2.0, contributing to our overarching goals for where we want Armello to be at the end of the year. Behind the scenes, we’ll be plugging away at larger, far-reaching, systemic changes to Armello. The end of the Road will culminate in the arrival of v2.0 itself and with it, these major features and improvements.

What are these larger features, you ask? Well, well, well, you’ll just have to load up your caravan and join us on this journey to find out.

Hero, welcome to The Road to 2.0.

Multiplayer / Re: Loser dropouts / player blocks
« on: February 08, 2018, 10:27:55 AM »
Ok, I'll let my ignorance talk whilst sort of hijacking wilrat's post but... wouldn't it be possible to keep a short record of player drop outs? Connection issues aside, maybe  drawing the line at a certain value over a certain number of games could help to improve this issue? Hopefully someday, for Armello!

Short answer, with out current tech, unfortunately that wouldn't be possible. That's primarily because we don't have dedicated servers for Armello - so multiplayer takes place in a peer to peer situation.

I hope that one day we can prioritise a feature to punish leavers and folks with bad behaviour. For the time being, with no reconnection feature to fortify our multiplayer games at all, we don't feel super comfortable pursuing something like that.

Off-Topic / Re: What just happened?
« on: February 06, 2018, 03:34:10 PM »
Hah, yeah that definitely did happen. This forum has gone through a little bit of a bot attack lately. I'm suspicious that we've pissed off some Steam Inventory farmer or something, motivating them to target our website.

We'll keep fighting the good fight tho.

Hah sorry Kletian, I added that flippantly but I'll update it to something else. Can't guarantee you won't get emails like that in the future though. <3

General Discussion / Re: Inquire about unban steam account
« on: January 31, 2018, 04:57:35 PM »
Hey there fantis6, thanks for reaching out.

Without even looking at your situation specifically, I can tell you that we only ever issue bans for folks that have been proven to have been exploiting our game, predominantly in terms of Steam Inventory items. We don't have the ability or intention to remove any bans that we issue.

You're looking for us to review your ban, literally the day of a triple drop event? Hmmmm....

General Discussion / Re: Winter Dice window was too short.

Hey there Jar!

Sorry to hear a week isn't enough for you. We may experiment with other timeframes moving forward but we find one week is the perfect amount to rally excitement while making them feel special and exclusive.

I guess it's not going to work perfectly for everyone, luckily they will probably be back next year and they are also available for trade/purchase from other players.

Hah this is wild. I wonder if it'd suit better to rotate through heroes from your clan. Regardless, this might be a little cray. Fun but cray.

General Discussion / Re: WRONG information on PS Store (Armello Bundle)
« on: January 25, 2018, 03:59:07 PM »
Hey NeveValkoinen!

Glad to hear you enjoyed Armello on PS4!

The Bundle is listed as a GAME on the PlayStation store but I think I understand where the confusion has come from. We'll definitely review the store description (I can't believe this hasn't come up before!) for you. It seems to be a little bit of a limitation of PS4's storefront.

Were you able to pick up the Bundle during the current PlayStation sale? If so I believe the discount would mean the Bundle is still cheaper than all the DLC individually?
