Hey there, thanks for letting us know about this.

This is definitely a bug; Heroes are being correctly DLC-shared, but equipment isn't.

Hey there,

We're aware of the first two bugs, sometimes particles and Griotte show up in places where they shouldn't, we're working on improvements to these visual effects for a future patch.

Bug number 3, unless it's happening to you every time, was probably a one-off caused by a player disconnecting or having their game crash during the match setup.

as for 4, the time it takes to send a log from the bugsender depends on your network connection and the length of your play session (longer sessions print longer logs with bigger filesizes) but it shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes in most cases. You can always find all your logs saved on your machine and send them in manually (and if you do this, e might be able to have a look at it and see what's causing the bugsender tool to take so long)

They are kept at
Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\League of Geeks\Armello\logs
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/League of Geeks/Armello/logs
Mac (el Capitan): /Users/<username>/Library/Caches/unity.League of Geeks
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/League of Geeks/Armello/logs

Hey there, sorry to hear you're having trouble!

Please send through the full log file to qa[at]leagueofgeeks.com and describe what you're seeing when the game is stuck (Is the screen all black, do you see a spinner, or is the video frozen?)

Hopefully we can sort this out!

Heya!

We hear about this bug from time to time, but it can be tricky to nail down exactly what's causing it in each case.
Your best bet in helping us find a fix for your system is to send a log from a play session where this occurred to
qa[at] leagueofgeeks.com

(C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\League of Geeks\Armello\logs)

You can also try switching up the micro USB cable you use to connect the controller, or sync it using a bluetooth adapter, which I remember working for at least one person. Send through that log and let us know how it goes!

an update! You can avoid the king stalling your game by turning your volume up (any value that isn't zero should do) but let us know if you're experiencing a different issue and this doesn't work for you  ;D

Hi there, thanks for this log and report, that multiplayer match definitely broke! It's unlikely that that particular match has affected all your future games though, especially after re-installing. (Which was a good step to take!) That multiplayer game and this issue with the start of games are probably unrelated.

If your game is locking up just before the king speaks, or as you said, when the race for the throne begins, it's possible you are experiencing a known issue with the king freezing the game with the power of his roar.  :'(

We're on it and you can look out for a game update that fixes this soon!

Hiya there, this is a known issue that we're looking into fixing in a future update, you'll find that this happens any time you 'preview' a card on gamepad, and that those previews will work as normal when activated with a mouse and keyboard.
So hold your controller tight and wait for a future patch! <3

Hi there, the AFK warning is on our radar, and so is the continue game message here, which is a known issue where pesky AI are selecting equipment they're not supposed to, you can work around this by manually selecting the AI's loadout in hero select, and holding on for a fix in an upcoming update :)

as for that select quest button wigging out, thanks for the heads-up, we can investigate it with the team.

Hey there! That definitely looks broken, and related to an issue where previewing quest rewards acts the same (very weird) way.

Hey there, a couple of mac users in the past have reported this issue, who also have nvidia hardware, so I think in your documenting and tests here you have identified the thing that's tripping armello up, so thanks!

I'll pass all this very helpful stuff long to the code team so we can investigate a possible fix!

Hey there, I found the following error in  that log

ERROR: IOException: Invalid handle to path "/home/simon/.config/unity3d/League of Geeks/Armello/profiles/0110000107A143B9/SavedGameState"
System.IO.FileStream..ctor

You could check the file and directory permissions to that path, and if that doesn't sort this out, I'd advise deleting that 'profiles' folder from league of geeks\Armello and then verifying your game files through steam.

Just run the game, click the invite button that triggers this error message, then send us your logs from:

Today I wanna make some custom dice out of tattoos! My housemate (who is abroad) sent me these great pics for inspo:





I really like the way her tat mixes solid lines and dotted stiplling and I'm hoping to at least recreate some of these nice lines on my dice.

I'm starting with clipping a few nice parts of a pic of me (saucy) and finding homes for them on the die


you can see on the left that i wanted to include a hand but it stretched off the die face, so i made it flow over the edge. this will probably not work and be a horrible disaster.

Next I'm going to try my best to warp the symbols around the areas that they're placed on. I'm not too stressed about getting this right, I could use displacement maps etc etc but right now I just want something quick and easy




Because I'm working with so many elements that require aligning, I'm going to test everything out at this stage, even though its early on.



Things look fine, and the hand still aligns over the edge. Now I can start crafting the tattoos, starting with recoloring the symbols to almost black:



and hollowing them out to JUST LINES:


This works for most of the symbols, but some look a little too simple now, so I'm adding stippling on more 'solid' surfaces





I guess you could say I'm......kind of a bad tattoo artist. I might have another swing at doing these symbols with a bit more effort thrown at them, but for now lets give it a normal map and a test in game!



I guess I'm implying that this cube is made of flesh (a terrifying concept) so I'll use a pretty subtle normal map for this test
