I feel it would be better when Yordana uses her Curse Of Skill to stealborrow fight from another player, have the dice of that player show up when she rolls to show it's not hers like the king when he steals misses.

Here's a rough Photoshop of the idea:

Feedback & Suggestions / Yordana is too overpowered.
« on: December 13, 2017, 02:54:47 AM »
I've been played about 6 games since the Rivals pre-release patch was rolled out with a friend and both of us think Yordana is far too overpowered in her current state.

In a private game we tried to apply as many pact spells on Fang as we could and managed:
  • -2 Fight.
  • -3 Health using her stat steal.
  • +2 Health after every fight the other player got into.
  • +2 Peril difficulty.
  • Stealth against Yordana.
(Making him even more useless than Ghor.)

I was playing as Fang and had the Rubellite ring and scratch amulet equipped and my friend playing as Yordana had the Amethyst ring and feel amulet.

With pact cards like that against a single person it's essentially impossible to do anything until you die and even then, Yordana can gain a new pact card every turn she has if she only draws spells. She is practically able to kill any player on the board with Lighting Strike if she takes on all the quests that give +1 to her spirit.

If the pacts were spread out over several people I don't think it would be so bad. But, there are some people we've seen online who will seem to just target a player with either the highest fight or health to use all her pact cards on until they rage quit.

Another thing we noticed is that while her pact card that grants stealth works if the person playing is alone, if two or more players lobbied together they can just tell each other where she is on the map making it essentially useless. (We didn't do this on online games but it's something we thought people could be able to do.)

Maybe make it so she's only able to use one of each pact card against a player or make the effects don't stack? I'm not sure I feel like there needs to be some kind of nerf.

Build Number:
2017-11-27 11:38:29Z (Hotfix v1.9.1 patch 6)

Platform:
Ubuntu Linux 17.10

Description:
Players talking too much while a battle screen or anything that delays speech bubbles from appearing causes them to overlap once they're allowed to appear again.

Repro Steps:
  • Go into combat.
  • Have other players talk.
  • Leave combat.

Suggestion
Could we please have a way to mute players? This guy in my game, stChaosknight, was just constantly spamming laugh from the moment the game started until the end.

Bugs! / [macOS] Graphical Glitches Using Nvidia Pascal Cards
« on: November 08, 2017, 02:46:00 PM »
Build Number:
2017-11-02 13:30:04Z

Platform:

Mac Pro (mid 2012)
  • macOS 10.12.6
  • Intel Xeon W3565
  • 8GB RAM
  • GTX 1070 with 378.05.05.25f03 drivers installed
Description:
The screen quickly fades to a bright white whenever you need to select something on screen (excluding cards for some reason) and the fog overlay when you zoom out doesn't render properly.

I've tried playing the game with the card that came with the computer, a Radeon HD 5770 and the glitches don't appear. Other games run properly using the Nvidia card without any glitches.

Repro Steps:
  • Play the game using a Nvidia graphics card on macOS

Description:

Bug 1: Trying to continue a singleplayer game after playing multiplayer will make the game think you don't own the DLC for said singleplayer game.

Bug 2: Some text is missing.

Bug 3: Having the "Select quest" popup appear after you die and end your turn causes it to overlap the "End Turn" button and makes it persist until the end of the game. (It still works but doesn't animate away after clicking it)

Repro Steps:

Bug 1:
  • Start searching for a multiplayer game.
  • Start a singleplayer game while searching.
  • Join multiplayer game and complete it.
  • Try continue singleplayer game, it will say you don't own the DLC to continue.

Bug 2:
  • Mouse over the AFK icon in the top left
  • ? ? ?
  • Profit.

Bug 3:
  • Die after completing a quest and have the game end your turn for you.
  • ? ? ?
  • Profit.
