Off-Topic / Our Favorite Tshirts
« on: September 08, 2014, 05:51:18 PM »
I'm personally a big fan. I've been following them since around year two. My closet has well over 50 shirts from them, and very few shirts from anywhere else. I haven't worn a non-tshirt in a looooong time (excluding the recently puchased tanktops Woot has sold me :P).

My favorite designs are generally those by Fablefire

What sort of shirts do you buy?
What are some of your favorites?
How big is your collection of these nerdy sort of t-shirts?

Armello Development / Re: Armello Development Update #01

1. It's good to see another fox. A big sword, so clearly different from the bandit vixen. I wonder how the card will be animated...

2. I believe something crucial is missing from those king animations: His tail. You've gone with a tailed world, so it's quickly noticeable that his tail is currently missing. Though perhaps I'm the one missing something, lore-wise.

3. On the same note, the fox's tail is not visible, which is not wrong given the angle, but I do think it might look nice being curled around as it's a bit of a foxlike thing to do.

4. Pencil illustrations attached to the quests? Awesome! I love sketches, so this is a big plus to my ears.

5. I'll have to check the video out another time. :)

It's an issue with SMF. The solution I found was to institute a security question when registering. Example: "What is our flagship game called?" - Armello

Something along those lines will be enough to shut down bots.

(Gah, too many people/replies X_X)

Looks great. Love the painteryness. I'd ask more about program choice but I probably won't remember to check the thread again, haha... ^_^;

To be honest, I'm more interested in the world building side of Armello right now than the game itself. I hope to see it popularized in the same way stuff like Redwall was. Having an adventure game, or longer stories with the characters, would be enjoyable. Looking forward to the first short story to see what sort of feel they will have.

*Raises his hand* Guilty. But I'm sure there's a ton of us lurking around here.

Are you an artist? A writer? What's your FA? Where did you hear about Armello first?

(Because this is a cross-culture environment and not one just for furries, remember to be on your best public behavior. We want to be respected, not laughed at, even if people might not laugh out loud.)

I'm not an artist or writer, but I occasionally help co-host art streams with a friend. I also frequently support another friend's t-shirt marketing. My FA is the same as my username here, TobiasAmaranth. And I first heard about Armello through the r/furry subreddit.

I see it more as her working in a tavern and falsely seducing in order to exploit/rob. Less cutesy and more Tricky-Disney-Villain feeling.
