Aaah. Okay. That does make sense.

Bugs! / Serendibite Ring Not Working As Intended?
« on: May 15, 2017, 08:38:31 PM »
Build Number:  1.7

Platform:  PC

Description:  I'm playing Sylas, and I have the bandit ring that gives +1 Prestige and +1 Gold for each King's Guard Killed. But whenever I kill a Kings Guard, I lose Prestige.

I'm unsure if I don't understand the mechanic, or if this is a bug. So I'm reporting this here. Please feel free to correct me if I'm misunderstanding how this is supposed to be used or if I'm not taking some other factor into consideration.

Repro Steps:  I had 2 rot. I had at least a bounty. I had no buffs or debuff cards played to me or played on myself. I attacked a King's Guard, killed him, gained at point of Prestige in the bottom right-hand corner  counters, but then the status window said that Sylas lost prestige for killing a King's Guard. When I looked down at the right-hand corner counter, the added Prestige point was no longer there.

Feedback & Suggestions / New Dice Skins
« on: May 05, 2017, 06:21:56 PM »
I was really looking forward to a set of new chests, keys, and dice skins with the release of Wyld's Ward 1.7.

Perhaps it's because I read the suggestion somewhere, or perhaps it's because the  Double Dip weekend made it seem like you had to hurry up and get the Trickery set of dice before they were gone and a new set of dice were introduced with Wyld's Ward 1.7 or The Bandit's Clan DLC.

To be honest, I think so many people disconnect early or mid-game  because if they don't think they've got a shot at winning the game, they don't see the point in spending an hour playing through it. These are the players who already have all the dice and don't need to stay in the game for that final reward. They're only there to slay the king.

In the end, their disconnect ends up screwing up the game for the other players, often making Armello hang long enough I can actually go make lunch, or it causes Armello to freeze all together. It's rather a vicious cycle and unfair to players who still need dice or are trying to work on achievements.

Are there plans in the future for a new set of die?

Thank you muchly, Biologist. I'll be sure to check out the link and the Discord community. I appreciate being pointed in the right direction.  It's difficult being a "newbie" all over again.

General Discussion / Re: NMA

Ah, unfortunately, I'm well-acquainted with that in multiplayer. Thank you for taking the time to explain that. I see it tossed around so much I had to know what it meant.

General Discussion / NMA

This is driving me crazy. I've been playing games for, well, a long, long time. I have never hear the acronym NMA. What in the world and outside does it mean? Please enlighten me before my head explodes.

Multiplayer / Re: Multiplayer Community Active / Populated ?

I've had no problem finding parties. Granted, I sometimes play around 5 a.m. EST in the U.S.A. or around 11 p.m.

You'd think it'd be hard to find a party, especially during those times. Granted, very early in the morning or very late at night, I may have to wait a little longer for a party than I do during the day.

But I never have any trouble finding a multiplayer party.

Introduce Yourself! / Greetings and Salutations!

Let's get to it, eh? I'm lazywnch.

The name is true and self-explanatory.

Armello caught my eye because of its unique art style, and (yes, I am this old) because the heroes reminded me of childhood movies like The Secret of Nimh or Rikki-Tikki-Tavi or even the early Disney animal-based movies.

(I think my earliest crush, before I knew what crushes were, was Disney's Robin Hood.)

The board game aspect made me nostalgic for older board games like the Settlers of Catan.

So, you got me, and my bank account still hasn't forgiven me for purchasing the Armello DLC.

Anyway, I'm working on the more *ahem* trying achievements and could use some diversion if you'd like to hit me up. I'm what you call socially anti-social. I'm afraid of the friend/buddy link/button.

But I'm happy to make new friends.
