Long story short, I've commissioned this picture to an artist (silverscarf) based on an Armello fanfiction story a friend of mine wrote.

I really love it, so enjoy you too! ;D (link to my FurAffinity's submission below):

General Discussion / Re: Online cheating??
« on: February 27, 2017, 02:19:08 AM »
There could be some in-game reason behind that:

Sargon's player could have used either some Hot Rot Wine or Strategist card (both grants 1 AP) after entering the castle hex.

Amber's player probably obtained and equipped the Winged Boots card (which grants no penalty for moving on mountains and swamps hexes).

Off-Topic / Re: Let's be honest, who here considers themselves a furry?
« on: February 27, 2017, 02:11:00 AM »
*raises paws* Furry (and soon fursuiter / fursuit performer too). To be honest Armello caught my interest because:

  • It features anthropomorphic characters
  • It's a boardgame

But probably without reason 1 I wouldn't still playing it nowadays. And yes, most of my not-public online matches are with furry friends I know even before (or after) discovering Armello. 8)

Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Italian localization quality
« on: January 22, 2017, 03:06:50 AM »
Hi there, I'm italian too. 334 hours (Steam counter) hours spent on Armello since early access here too. I admit the Italian localisation of the game has some issues (typos, wrong meaning of some card texts and some King's declarations too... however the game as it is (with Italian text) is still enjoyable and understandable. That's just my two cents...  ;)

Bugs! / Early Bid not showing when playing with others online

I've got the Early Bird badge since the developers gave me the PC review code for Armello but today, when playing online with a friend of mine, he said he didn't see it on his pc. I've checked my steam inventory and I've still got the badge. Any help from the developers? ???

That vengeance, to a degree, is essentially part of gameplay. We aren't looking at implementing a blacklist any time soon, do you think there was any reason you were getting picked on?

Cheers,

<3 Darcy

Too bad... it's just random. Sometime people picks you for no reason at all, even if you didn't mind to use the chat during the game. Having spent about 286 hours in the game I'm really "trained" to notice if other players are turning on myself for game's purpose / own goals or just for having fun in being complete jerks 8)

What exactly do you mean by harassment? I'd like to hear what you feel is playing like an "asshole"...since Armello is a game where only one player may win and you need to pull off every trick available to you...I do think sometime you just NEED to attack another player.

I perfectly understand that, but isn't too much when some players keep hitting you with spells and tricks EVERY TURN EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT THE PRESTIGE LEADER OR THEY STILL HAVE MISSIONS SOMEWHERE ELSE? ::)

12
Sometimes Armello games goes smoothly and fun, other times not... Whenever in my multiplayer (without friends) games I start to suspect other players acting like total jerks (I mean, it's understandable to attack you if you're standing on other's mission or playing some cards against you if the other player has to burn them... but within some limits) my experience is ruined and since I'm a person who holds grudges I usually begin to suspend my current mission / strategies only to payback the jerks in the game and ruining their fun.  >:(

Long story short, I was thinking: is it possible to implement some sort of "players blacklist" so whenever I'll start future games I don't get the chance to meet them again? And please don't tell me it'll rarely happen because I've already managed to meet twice or thrice the very same players... ::)

Thanks to both, I've found my file on Mac OS X Sierra on the following path:

 /Users/<username>/Application Support/unity.League of Geeks/profiles/<STEAM profile ID>/

Like I said on the Steam forums, there's a specific file your progress lives in that's specific to each Steam account.  If you save that file, any computer you transfer it to will have your Armello progress when you log in with that Steam Account, but only that account.  I did that before Cloud saving progress was implemented.  I've tried playing with my file to see if it could be made transferable, but it's not a human readable format.

PC path
"C:\Users\<windows user>\AppData\LocalLow\League of Geeks\Armello\profiles\<SteamIDNumber>\PlayerStat"

Note the precise name of the file is a bit of a guess since I couldn't find my last post on the subject, but the directory is correct.

Is it possible on Mac too? If yes, which location path will it be?

Hey folks,

The current situation is that we need more reports on this. It seems like it's occurring for Mac users primarily but other than that, we haven't been able to track down a pattern and it seems to occur very rarely.  It can be rough if you get hit by this bug but please submit all relevant logs through to us.

Cheers,

<3 Darcy

Aaand it happened to me again for the 3rd time, Darcy. I still suspect it has to do something with the recent updates (since the Usurpers DLC launch) or something wrong with the server side access which causes my game settings / progresses getting corrupted...   :'( :-\
