I can't imagine restricting past broadcasts to subscribers would help any, but I'm happy that some of it is still being uploaded to youtube. And I appreciate the response :)

I may be wrong here, but has the past broadcasts been limited to subscribers only? I went there earlier to see what I've been missing and found that I couldn't access any of LoG's past broadcasts unless I'd subscribed to the channel.

None of my business of course, but it seems a little... I dunno. I'm assuming (and hoping) it's a mistake of course. It'd be nice if the newbies and potential buyers had a place to go look at the game while the channel is offline.

I don't mind a corrupted character walking around with 4 stones, but maybe just make them useless for the corrupted player. You could use that tactically too, by corrupting a player about to win with 4 stones.

We also have to be careful that it doesn't get too easy though. It shouldn't be easier than combating the king, and if it gets too easy to win by means other than by prestige, prestige is gonna become useless, or at least the win condition is.

Just a suggestion and I'm sure this has already gone through your minds, but how about letting people using the spirit amulet start with a stone? No 10% increased chance of finding stones in dungeons, and no crystallizing events. Stones stay mysterious and the spirit stone victory becomes more achievable.
And let people steal the stones again as well. That way if the offender happens upon a stone, he/she gets an opportunity to change secondary objectives.

I don't like the crystallizing events solely because it messes with the idea I have in my head about the spirit stones being this mysterious force to banish the evil king with. And with the addition of this new event, there's just too many ways to get the stones. And they become more like "I'm here, come grab me!". "Gotta collect 'em all!" just popped into my head ^^

When I said "remove them from the map" I meant the stone model that shows up on the stone circles and in the pick-up popup.

I actually kinda liked that you could steal each others stones, because it made it a rarity, as it should be. Or a better way to put it would be that they felt special. And that's gone now.

I dunno about the balance. Maybe the alternative win conditions should be easier to do, but I kinda grew to like that you had your main victory goal, which was prestige, and an optional one if you could do it.

I had to name the thread something, and people are gonna give their opinions anyway, so why not make it a general spirit stones thread.

I don't think the new spirit stone change is good. The spirit stone model is a bit rubbish and doesn't fit in that well, IMO. I also think the frequent crystallizing events demystifies them. I never had a problem with having the stones stolen before either, but that's just me. I couldn't say whether it's more balanced now or not, but it doesn't feel right.

If you do plan on keeping it this way, LoG, I hope you remove the spirit stone from view on the map. The event looks great even if I don't think it quite fits in. Maybe you can make the event happen less often, I dunno. But at least remove the stone from view :/ It looks weird.

Is it just me? Tell me if I'm wrong.

I've been playing a lot of SMITE (a MOBA, not important) and from signing up for a multiplayer game to actually getting into the match, a lot of time passes. And rather than having people just wait for the matchmaking to find a suitable group to play with, the game will inform you while out of game that a match is ready, so you can do something else while waiting.

It'd be awesome to see something like that in Armello.

Yeah, backups FTW! Don't even have to be good. I just need a consolation price when I fuck up :(

I don't know if I like the idea that the -AP carries over. I mean I wouldn't mind it. It'd still be better. But I kinda like that you take a risk on where the player might go. If you succeed, you should be rewarded. And if you take the shortcut and drop it right on them the effect should be lesser, or maybe just something different like losing 1 gold or something similar.
